Dieses Album, ich glaube es ist sein zweites Werk, bietet sehr viel Genreübergreifende Musik. Folk, eine Prise Soul, Blues und gelegentlich Rock sorgen für viel Kurzweil. Der Titel des Werkes scheint genau darauf hinzuweisen.
Die Kompositionen sind größtenteils Mid Tempo Stücke, die allesamt ihren verdienten Platz auf dem Tonträger innehaben. Ian verstehe es auch hier sich nicht zu sehr in den Vordergrund zu stellen, obwohl die Stimme und sein handwerkliches Können an der Gitarre das durchaus zulassen würde.
Es fällt schwer Alternativ Alben von ihm zu benennen. Heute, nachdem einige Folgealben bekannt sind, würde ich es wohl als einen beabsichtigten Mix aus allen Alben sehen.
